 What chemicals do the biogeochemical cycles circulate between the atmosphere and the Earth?  In nature, nothing is wrong. In nature, everything is recycled or whatever is called recycling. Living things take oxygen, nitrogen, carbon and water from their environment and use them to survive. When organisms die, they begin to mix or decompose in the soil. As a result, the material (from which they are formed) returns to the environment so that it can be reused in the pulp of nature. General Chat Chat Lounge ** Nitrogen cycle ** All animals need nitrogen. The plants carry nitrogen from the soil. Animals then receive the plant nitrogen. When animals and plants die, they return nitrogen to the soil. Certain types of bacteria (nitrogenous bacteria) play an important role in nitrogen uptake. They convert nitrogen into a form of nitrates that plants can use with ease. If they were not bacteria, the plants would die of nitrogen starvation. Some bacteria (nitrogenous bacteria) break the nitrates in the soil and send the nitrogen back into the atmosphere. The body of floating animals and plants absorbs nitrogen into the soil. Animals eat foods that contain nitrogen-rich nitrates. Nitrogen is present in large quantities (78%) in our atmosphere. From the atmosphere to the wells of the Earth, the atmosphere's nitrogen reaches the ground mixed with rain water. Plants can carry this nitrogen through their roots. ** Oxygen cycle ** Animals absorb oxygen (ُ2) and absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) through the airways. They use oxygen to absorb energy from their food. The carbon dioxide is used in light plant photosynthesis and in turn releases oxygen into the air. Algae do the same thing in water.
